When I started working with Jen, I had been through A LOT physically and mentally as competitor. Previous prep methods that went to extremes of dieting, training, and hours of cardio left my body & spirit broken. I was in a place of being unsure if I would ever compete again. My prep with Jen was a birthday gift and it was the best gift I could have ever received. Jen is an amazing coach, mentor, friend, and support system. She truly keeps your best interests at heart and is mindful of all components of your life outside of prep. Everything in her plans has a purpose- and a purpose she can explain. The days of DREADING check ins and what extreme changes would incur week to week were finally over. Regardless of where we were at in prep, I never had to fear anything drastic or negative from Jen week to week. Changes and communication were always prompt and open to questions. In a matter of 13 weeks with Jen, not only did we bring an amazing package to stage that won me my IFBB Pro Card- but we also brought out the best in me as a competitor; Confidence in myself, confidence in the process, and a rebirth of my love for the sport.

I love, love, love working with Jen! I first reached out to Jen for posing sessions because I had no idea what I was doing. She was so patient with me during our posing sessions and finding the right poses that look best for my body type. I had prepped myself for my first three shows, but after deciding I wanted to take my competing to the next level and compete at Nationals, I knew I needed a seasoned coach. It made perfect sense for me to ask Jen to be my prep coach since we already had a working relationship and she knew my body pretty well. It was THE BEST decision I have made! Prep isn’t easy, and being that I was self-coached, I had a really hard time letting go of the reins. Jen was so patient with me and really helped mentor me on letting go and letting her do all the work. She has always been so patient with me, understanding of my concerns, and so supportive throughout prep. I’ve come to trust Jen 100%, she truly knows her stuff! I LOVE the way my physique has transformed and I am so much more confident today than I ever have been before!

"I had done a bikini competition before and had a really bad experience with my previous coach. I decided the second time around to look for a coach that would suit my needs and help me get on stage with a healthier approach. I found Jen and she was so helpful from start to finish. I was very concerned about doing hours of cardio or fasted cardio and starving myself to get stage ready, but she had a very healthy approach and had my best interests at heart. I didn't believe that I could even come close to being a bikini competitor, but with Jen's diet and training plan I was able to strut my mommy tummy across that stage. "When I started with Jen at the beginning of my prep (approximately 19 weeks ago) for my first competition, I had no clue what I was doing and needed a lot of guidance and help. My meals were not properly timed, and I was eating too much in every meal, and wasn’t getting enough protein in my diet. With her help I have been able to cut for my first show, and drop the weight that I have been wanting to drop for quite some time. I never thought my body could ever look as good as it does now and it is because her meal plans and workout plans were so spot on. It is hard to find a good or great coach who doesn’t restrict you or make you do hours upon hours of cardio. She does none of those things. My entire prep I have no felt restricted at all, and my cardio has been a moderate amount. She was the swift kick in the rear that I needed and she keeps me in check and holds me accountable for everything that I do and eat. She is super encouraging and gives credit where and when credit is due, but she is also very straight to the point which is what I like. Anyone who asks me about my prep and my coach, and say they want to compete, I tell them about her and say to talk to her because she has set me on a path for success. I honestly could not imagine having anyone else as my coach, and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for me post show. She is absolutely great, and I have so much more energy and I have gained so much self confidence and self love for myself. Whether it is contest prep, or regular ole fitness and meal plans, I am sticking with Jen."
